Scolingo is a global online language-learning platform built around high-quality teaching, real community, and long-term learning.
It was created as an alternative to platforms that optimize for scale and convenience, while teachers and learners are left with fragmented experiences and little continuity. Scolingo is intentionally smaller, more thoughtful, and designed to support learning that actually lasts.
We are starting with online Serbian language lessons taught by carefully vetted teachers, and growing slowly into a broader European language ecosystem.

Meet Borivoje Dordevic
Scolingo was founded by Borivoje Dordevic, a language teacher and educator who has spent years helping students learn Serbian and other languages, both inside and outside traditional classrooms.
Long before building Scolingo, Borivoje was already teaching at scale. Through his language learning YouTube channel with over 80,000 subscribers, he has helped learners around the world improve their Serbian through clear explanations, structure, and cultural context.
Through this work, Borivoje saw firsthand what many learners struggle with: jumping between lessons without continuity, learning vocabulary without understanding context, and platforms that prioritize speed over real progress.
